Jason full of energy as he is given wings
RED BULL, the world’s number one Sports Energy Drink has signed a sponsorship deal with Jason Crump this week as he prepares to attack all before him at the Ullevi Stadium in Gothenberg next Saturday night.
Crump, excited by his new sponsorship, stormed to an 18 point maximum from six rides in Poland on Sunday and the two-time World Champion has his eyes clearly set on taking victory at the next Grand Prix in Sweden.
“I am full of energy and this sponsorship has given me wings.” said Crump, a 4-time Swedish Grand Prix winner. “To be associated with the world’s leading brand of energy drink is an honour and I will be doing everything possible to deliver them a World Championship this year.”
“But, there is still a long way to go in the championship and anything can happen. Right now my focus is on Sweden and I am not thinking beyond that at this stage. My object is to win and capture as many points as possible to maintain or increase my lead in the series. Anything short of that and I will be bitterly disappointed.”
The 43,000 seat Ullevi Stadium track, the longest circuit in the Grand Prix series came under heavy criticism last year as the track surface rapidly deteriorated causing many crashes and injuries. Let’s hope the organisers get it right this year and we see world class action at its best.
